TWO BEST (from previous post)

 

I chose this as one of my favorite edits because I love the old timey feel of the photograph. Even though the contrast is up, you can see the words from old ads on the side of the building. You can still see the words GROCERY above what was possibly a small store at one time. I love seeing the history of my town, they try to keep a lot of it intact and it's nice that they didn't try to repaint over this to hide it. 

I chose this as one of my other favorite edits because I love the movement from the water bouncing off the lilypad fountain in the town square. By darkening and sharpening the image I was able to define the water and make it stand out from the background. I didn't want the background of the building to take away from the subject of the water.
