This week we learned how to make our own song in Soundation by selecting clips of sounds and layering them to make a 3-5 minute song. I chose to use a Lo-fi mix and layer different sounds ranging from dreamy to sinister clicking and tapping, to sound like the end of a vinyl record when it's done playing. I wanted to use it for my video next week which will go directly along with every part of the song. I think this is a great idea to show everyone's individual creativity and get different types of sounds and videos for digital graphic design. I would have made my song a little longer but I didn't want it to feel like it dragged on and I had limited sounds I could work with, with how I wanted it to sound. I think what I came up with sounds pretty good I only wish I had more sounds so that I could layer it a little more.
